Bayramiç is a small town with a population of less than 35.000. The Hadımoğlu House is well worth a visit. The house today is mainly 18th century with 20th century restoration. It is a Turkish House lavishly decorated with gildings, inlays, sculptures, frescoes, plaster ornaments and carved woods.

The most accessible route to Kaz Dağları (Mount Ida - 1774 meters, 5820 feet) is via Bayramiç to Ayazma. Pınarbaşı in Ayazma was the place where the Trojan Prince, Paris, judged the first ever beauty between Hera, Athena and Aphrodite and on choosing the goddess of love, Aphrodite, ultimately leading to the war between the Greeks and the Trojans.

Nature trails are excellent for hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, nature walks, and relaxing in the midst of restful green forests.
